I am sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. I graduated with Kenny from SHS and had his mother, Ms. Ruth Thomas, in 7th grade Louisiana History. I am sorry that Ms. Thomas has buried 2 of her children and will be praying for the family. I saw Kenny several years ago at a Waffle House when I was down fishing with some family members in Sulphur. He was kind and friendly and I enjoyed seeing him again. I pray for peace and comfort to Kenny's family and extended family at this difficult time.

It has been years since I last saw Kenny and he was a young man who had the same interest as my son, Rusty. Kenny was a good looking and a fun loving young man and very attentive to his mother. So many people loved him and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and co-workers. God bless you.

Oh my! Kenny and I go way back to second grade. We were in the same room - Ms. Risinger that became Mrs. Trull that school year after getting married. I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world when Kenny became my boyfriend in 2nd grade. Kenny and I were quite the item in elementary school as we remained boyfriend/girlfriend until 6th grade. He was definitely the cutest boy around and the girls loved him! He and Chuck Kinney would go from class to class and Kenny would sing “We were out on a date in my daddy’s car we hadn’t driven very far .......” and Chuck would stand by him and play the air guitar! Such fond childhood memories!
Kenny was well liked and had a maturity about him even in grade school. Our paths crossed through the years and we would pick up as friends like no time had passed! I remember he had upset me once and I really tore into him and he just stood and listened and said he deserved every bit of a good chewing out that I gave him! We texted each other a couple years ago cause I heard he had some health issues and I just wanted to check on him. That was probably the last time we spoke. You always wish for another opportunity to see someone but sometimes it’s too late. I would like to have talked to him once more however I cherish the memories we made and even have love letters he wrote to me me at W. T. Henning. RIP dear friend until we meet again you will always have a special place in my heart!! My prayers go out to your wonderful family and all those that loved you.
