Lance Bennett Tomme, 61, of Sulphur, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born in Lake Charles on April 4, 1963 to Louis and Barbara Tomme. Lance enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked as a guide for over 20 years. Many days were spent in a boat or in a blind with his friends, living for the day.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Louis and Barbara Tomme; children, Brianna Tomme Faulk and husband, Zachary of Dallas, Casey Green and spouse, Hunter Kidder of Sulphur, and Hunter Tomme of Lake Charles; sister, Lorelei Tomme Cox; brother, Lyle Tomme; grandchildren, Emma and Fallon Faulk, Kamryn Green, Bryson Spell, Victoria, Kaden and Fisher Tomme; niece, Jenna Mistric and husband Jaque; nephews, Grant Cox and wife, Kayla, and Clint Cox and wife, Lacie; and great nieces and nephews, JoLeigh and Jhett Mistric, Jackson, Jude, Lillie, William and John Cox. He also leaves behind his black lab, Pink who will start hunting next September with his best friend, Cade Brown; as well as additional close friends, who were like brothers to him. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and brother-in-law, Greg Cox.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler. Visitation will be from 4 pm until time of service.
