"Brooks" was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, woodworking, and being in his pool. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Brooks was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed greatly.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 42 years, Faye Hebert; son, Doug Hebert and wife, Glenda; son, Joey Hebert; son, Robert Hebert and wife, Christine; eight grandchildren, Amber Cross and husband, Josh, Alanea Deville and husband, Jacob, Barry Hebert, Abbygayle, Drew, Issac, Zoey, and Zachary Hebert; two great-grandchildren, Zailey Deville and Jericho Cross; and a sister, Fabia Thomason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester, Sr. and Theresa Moss Hebert.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Reverend Lamar Huffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur.
