Linda Louise Andrus

Linda was born in Alexandria, La., to Lealon and MaeBelle Cole on March 10, 1941. Linda loved babysitting her grandchildren and they loved being with her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, T.J. Andrus Sr.; children, Debra Melancon and husband David and T.J. “Tootie” Andrus Jr. and wife Tina all of Sulphur; grandchildren, Heidi Montz and husband Jeremy, Andrew Melancon, Mandy Pierce and husband Will, Bradley Andrus and wife Amber, Joe Nixon and wife Christy,and Lacy Andrus; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Cameron Paige, Liam, Caleb, Camren, Tatum, Kaden, siblings, JoAnn Thompson and husband Curt, Catherine Reed, Richard Cole and Clifford Cole; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Andrus; parents, Lealon and MaeBelle Cole; brothers, Jimmy, Tommy, and Robert Cole; and a sister, Faye Lunsford.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, at Lighthouse Tabernacle in Sulphur. The Rev. Alan Upton and Rev. Greg Melancon will officiate. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and resume Thursday 9 a.m. until service at the church. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North.
