Linda Kay Stagg, 83, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was born to her late parents, Lloyd and Goldie Ledbetter on March 14, 1942 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She retired from Delta Downs Racetrack as a Horse Teller. Linda's cakes were always a favorite of her coworkers. She loved her family very much, and was especially fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Stagg; children, Kenneth Guilliams (Rebecca) of Sulphur, Louisiana, Betty Sue Trainer of Carlyss, Louisiana, and James "Scott" Guilliams (Keith) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister, Betty Lou Vincent (A.C.) of Alma, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Donald, Troy, Dustin, David, Aaron, Jerome, Zack, and Nick; along with five great grandchildren, Alexis, Larissa, Kaitlin, Claire, and Aiden.
Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Patty Sue Floyd; along with her parents.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home in Sulphur, Louisiana on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Randall Chesson officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, Louisiana.
