Lois Marie Bergeron, 78, of Sulphur, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Lois was born in Crowley on May 27, 1947, to Romain and Marie (Doucet) Guidry. She was a member of the Jaycees and the Lions Club. Lois enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Patrick Bergeron; her parents, Romain and Marie; along with 7 siblings, Georgia Gray, Melba Blanchard, John Guidry, Robert Guidry, Betty Guidry, Alice Guidry, and Patrick Guidry.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Barry Bergeron of Sulphur; daughter, Pam Heard and husband, Terry of Sulphur; 3 grandchildren, Brett, Dusty and Kristen; 4 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Branson, Bridger and Pasilynn; along with 9 siblings, Gloria Torres, Shirley Herron, Lloyd Guidry, Donald Guidry, Cloyd Guidry, Daniel Guidry, Darrell Guidry, Danny Guidry, and Michael Guidry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Friday, June 13, 2025 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home under the direction of Hixson Celebrant, Jody Tyler. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 with a Rosary at 6pm and will resume at 10 am Friday, until time of service.
