Louise was a native of Lowry, Louisiana, and lived in Sulphur since 1940. She attended Our Lady of Lasallette Catholic Church. Louise enjoyed sewing, cooking, telling jokes, playing games and camping.
Survivors include her daughters Sylvia Parker and her husband John, of Sulphur, and Shirley Reed of Sulphur; sons Wilton Chesson and his wife Susan, of Sulphur, and Calvin "Pete" Chesson and his wife Claudette, of Lake Charles; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson J. Chesson; grandsons, Corbett Reed and Daniel Chesson; daughter-in-law Violet Chesson; son-in-law Calvin Reed; great great granddaughter Zoey Skye Vincent.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 3, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday with a rosary at 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
