

She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and had been been a former manager for the 7-11 convenience store. Lula enjoyed sewing, being outdoors, and gardening, especially flowers.
Survivors include her children, Leonard E. Bowring Jr. and wife, Charlotte, James Bowring Sr, and Donna Nolan, all of Sulphur; her siblings, Leon Quebodeaux Jr, Ervin Quebodeaux, Tommy Quebodeaux, Evelina LeJeune, Judy Bergeron, and Mary Jane Holland; seven grandchildren, Rachelle McClellan and husband, Booger, James "Little Man" Bowring Jr. and wife, Jessica, Chance Bowring, Melissa Dill, Harold Turner, Jason Bowring, and Matthew Bowring. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Nolan; and her parents, Leon Sr. and Alozia Quebodeaux.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Duplechin will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North.
