

She was a native of Church Point and had been a resident of Sulphur since 1966, coming from Jennings. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Lydiana enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, cooking, canning, and growing flowers.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Lee Ryder and wife, Earline of Welsh, and Gerald Joseph Ryder of Sulphur; two daughters, Geraldine "Geri" LeDoux of Sulphur and Linda Marie Cunningham and husband, Pete of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Melvin Boudreaux and wife, Marie of Church Point; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Savue Ryder, Jr; a brother, Allen Boudreaux; four sisters, Eula Borque, Eva Meche, Rosa Mae Comeaux, and Dorothy Tweedel; and a son-in-law, Edward "Joe" LeDoux.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. The Rev. Joe Gosselin will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. today with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. and from 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
