Margaret Christina Miller, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born to Calvin and Geraldine Carlin on September 25, 1948, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Margaret enjoyed shopping and feeding the birds wherever she went. She loved flowers, literature and reading. Margaret had a huge heart and loved giving and receiving gifts, especially at Christmas. Most importantly, Margaret loved her family and spending time surrounded by her loved ones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Elizabeth Myers of Sulphur, and Abigail Walker (Roy Cormier) of Jennings; sons, Benjamin Walker (Monique) of Sulphur, and Jacob Miller of Minnesota; grandchildren: Simon Myers, Ivy Walker, Alexis Walker, Allen Hamilton, Emilie Walker, Richard Walker, Colton Walker and Hunter Walker; great-grandchildren: Emma O'Quinn, Easton O'Quinn, Mirajane Wiltz and Cillian Wiltz; and sister, Cathy McGann. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Bob McGann.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 10am, Saturday. Visitation will follow the Rosary and will continue until time of service. Deacon Keith Ellender will officiate.
