Margaret was a Sulphur Native who attended Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. She coached softball at Sulphur Parks and Recreation for 27 years. Margaret was a resident of Grand Cove Nursing Home when she died. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Rike and her husband, Andy, of Katy, TX; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Perry and daughter Uba Lee Anderson.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Family Life Center at Henning Memorial United Methodist Church at 500 Ruth St, Sulphur, La. 70663.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Heather Leyland will Officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.
