Marie Louise Bourgeois

Marie was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, and of the Catholic Daughters for over 40 years. She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years at the church. Marie loved her family dearly. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, crocheting, and putting together puzzles. She was loved by all who met her and will be missed greatly.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Joan Ellender; three grandchildren, Stewart Ellender and wife, Leslie, Terry Ellender Sensat and husband, Anthony, and Susan Ellender Barton and husband, Mike; seven great-grandchildren, Shamberly Edgerton, Nicholas and Mathew Sensat, Haley, Megan, Joshua, and Benjamin Barton; and a sister, Rosa Lopez.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Bourgeois.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Chapel. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.
