Marion Nina McCauley, 73, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. Marion was born in Hot Springs, SD to Bernard and Helen Brokaw. Marion was a US Postal worker for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church and very generous with giving her time and helping others when and however she could. Marion loved all of her family, but found fulfillment through spoiling her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Michael Ogletree and wife Mejie, Kimberly Lamitina and husband Steve, and Christopher Ogletree, all of Sulphur; grandchildren, Anthony Lamitina, Nicole Husidic, Joshua Ogletree, Corey Ogletree, and Alexis Ogletree; great-grandchildren, Brody Husidic, Silas Ogletree, and Elora Ogletree; sister, Edith Yantis; and brother, Jeffrey Brokaw.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan McCauley and her parents.
A mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Carlyss. Father Sibi Kunninu will officiate. Visitation will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5 to 8 PM, with a Rosary at 6 PM.
