Mary was a longtime member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur and she loved her work at the church for 17 years before moving to Texas. She enjoyed crocheting and loved being with her family and cooking big meals for them. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed deeply.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, J.C. Gary, and her parents, Clarence LeMaire and Olite Simon LeMaire.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Lynn Gary of Hemphill, TX; her daughter, Kathy Joiner and husband, Joe of Liberty, TX; grandchildren, Jared Gary, Jacob Gary and wife, Megan, Joshua Gary and wife, Shelby, Jay Joiner and wife, Angel, James Pollard, Ashley Cain, and Amber Cain; great-grandchildren, Aiden Joiner, Albert Gary, Louise Gary, Ollie Hamilton, Steeley Gary, Jaxon Cates, Luca Pollard, and Tomi Pollard.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 with Father Terry Niziolek officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
