A native of Beaumont, Mary had lived in Sulphur since 1967. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Sulphur. Mary not only loved her family but had a passion for Elvis !
She is survived by her children Johnny Ray Sorgee ( Pam),Michael Wayne Sorgee ( Sharon) and Mary Jo Cobb (Ron); grandchildren Gil, Elizabeth, Brandon, Brently, Brook and Emily; great granddaughter Trinity; brother John Joseph “J.J.” Brocato.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 3, 2011 from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church under direction of Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery – South in Carlyss. Visitation will be in the funeral home Wednesday from 4 until 9 pm with a scripture service at 6:00 pm and from 9 am until 1:45 pm on Thursday.
