Mary Ann Thompson, 88, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born to her late parents, Earl and Ruth LeBrun on September 22, 1937 in Sulphur. Mary Ann enjoyed creative art painting, various genres of music and dancing. She was a part of a group of close friends, "The Boogie Buddies", and they would go dancing at various venues. Mary Ann loved Cajun cooking and excelled at it. She was known by her grandchildren as Nana. Mary Ann was loved by all, she impacted many lives with her care, inspiration, kindness and love towards others.
She is survived by her children, Vickie Burns (Billy) of Lakeland, Florida, Chris Thompson (Sandy) of Humble, Texas, Ronnie Segelquist (Lisa) of Azle, Texas, and Michele Thoma (Dr. Todd) of Shreveport, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; along with sixteen great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thompson Jr.; along with her parents.
