He was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and enjoyed fishing, Bar-b-queing, and spending time with his family. Michael often joked around with his friends and he never met a stranger.
Survivors include his parents, Elton and Mary Ann Meche of Sulphur; three sisters, Betty Ann Sartin of Bell City, Donna Marie Gore of Coutella, Georgia, and Carol Lynn Albarado of Sulphur; four brothers, Elton Joseph Meche Jr, David Wayne Meche, Jeffery Mark Meche, and Kenneth Eric Meche, all of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
