

Leo had been a Sulphur resident for the past 17 years, after living in Vinton since 1950. He retired as a Production Superintendent for Texaco after 33 years of service. He was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Vinton and a current member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. Leo was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, David Paul LeBlanc and wife Laresa of Sulphur and Kert LeBlanc and wife Mandy of Slidell; brother, Allen LeBlanc of West Columbia, Texas; sister, Gloria Turk of Lake Jackson, Texas; five grandchildren, Derrick LeBlanc, Krystal LeBlanc McMullin and husband James, Hunter LeBlanc, Holden LeBlanc, and Ashley French Baustert and husband Scott; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Aiden and Brody; and his special companion, his dog “Sissy”. Leo also leaves to cherish his memory several special and longtime friends who celebrated life with him and were there to comfort him during his illness.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marie Madell LeBlanc, his parents, Avery and Leles LeBlanc; father and mother-in-law, David and Hazel Broussard; sister, Mary Jane LeBlanc Young, and brother, Dewey LeBlanc.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 9 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the 8th floor nursing staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, the Doctors of Pulmonary Associates and Dr. Ron Lewis for the excellent care given to our Dad.
