

Pauline worked various jobs to help provide for her family. Her husband sparked a passion for the American Coin in her and she spent many years operating a coin booth at a local flea market. Pauline was very active in her church and volunteered to make candy for all of the fundraisers! In her free time Pauline enjoyed sitting on her porch with her beloved dog.
Pauline was preceded in death by husband, Charles Russell Bowen, Jr, her parents, Ocal D Boster, Sr. and Mary Mathis Boster. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George, and three sisters, Catherine, Helen, and Francis.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are son, Toney Bowen and his wife, Hope; son, Danny Bowen and his wife, Patti; son, James Bowen and his wife, Jackie; grandchildren, Mylon Bowen, Amber Soke, Jeff Bowen, Angela Maynard, Jennifer Neal and her husband, Johnathon, Brandon Bowen, Brittany Bowen; 13 Great-Grandchildren; and a brother, Ocal D. Boster, Jr.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2019 South Ruth St. in Sulphur.
Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Hadding officiating under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pauline will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rome-Proctorville Cemetery in Proctorville, OH at a later date.
