I remember when I got this for U. Rest Easy. U will be missed.

To my dear sweet cousin Peg. You always loved me as a little sister that you never had. We have made so many memories thru out our lives with good & bad but mostly good ones and I will cherish them for a life time. 

I knew with your illness you could leave me any day but even though I was never prepared for your death.  No one is ever prepared enough.

When I got the news about you Christy & I both cried & cried.  I know you wouldn't want us to cry but it is so hard not to.

Bless Monica's heart she thought of Jayce, my grandson that was so close to you, loved you like a grandmother and looked up to you for guidance. He was always there for you to lend a helping hand. I know you loved him like your own grandchild. 

Since Butch died you never could find happiness. Of course you tried to cover it up but I truly knew how you felt inside. You felt such emptiness.  Now you and he will be reunited at last.

I always remembered your birthday as you and Kenneth, my brother, your cousin shared the same special day. You could always count on a phone call from me wishing you a Happy Birthday. 

Your three children David, Monica and Robert will always love you Peg.  Yall may have had yalls differences but in the end they knew you were their mother, they had your back no matter what and they all loved you dearly. 

As far as your grandchildren... well there are so too many to list.  David's children, Monica's children and Robert's children. They all loved their maw maw Peg. 

It is going to be hard for me grieving my loss of you MY cousin 💔 😢 As I type this the tears are flowing down my face😭

You always told me LIFE MUST GO ON Anna Gayle and it will Peg, but it will be hard. 

No matter what time of day or night and even when I was 1,223 miles apart from you I always knew I could call to talk to you anytime I wanted or needed to.

Peggy Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Joseph Chesson and her parents, Lenis Joseph and Evelyn Jane Domingue.


Those left to cherish her memory are her children, David LaFleur (Julee), Monica Havens (Jason), Robert LaFleur (Veronica), and Felicia Chesson (finance, Michael); granddaughter whom she raised, Makenzie McFarlain (James); 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
