She was a native of St. Louis, Missouri and had been a longtime resident of the Westlake-Sulphur area. Phyllis enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Melissa Doucet of Sulphur, Harold Hollyfield of Carlyss, Richard Hollyfield, Teisha Hollyfield, and Christopher Hollyfield, all of Westlake; her brother, Dale Peek of Gillis; sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hollyfield, daughter, Tracy Hollyfield Mears; and her siblings, Mona Peek Powell and Jerry Peek.
