

Randall was born in Baton Rouge and was raised in Sulphur, Louisiana. He was a lifetime resident. He was a graduate of Sulphur High School in 1961. He graduated from McNeese State University with a degree in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1970. Randall worked at Cities Service Oil Company (Citgo) and retired as an Electrician after 35 years. He was a member of the IBEW Local 861. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sulphur and participated with the Agin Cajuns Choir. Randall was an avid fisherman, camper and enjoyed golf. He was a loyal fan and follower of the Sulphur Tors and the McNeese Cowboys. Randall's delight of life was time spent with family, friends and fellow retirees.
Randall is survived by two children; Angela (Angie) Ann Martin and her Godchild Jonathon Clack, John Christopher (Chris) Martin of Sulphur; one sister, Mildred Powell of Bryan, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Martin and his wife Sue of Sugarland, Texas, Harold Martin and his wife Martha of Norman, Oklahoma; four brothers-in-law, Robert, Tommy, Linn, Gregory and wife Debbie Goleman and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randall is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Sylvia Goleman Martin and his parents Wesley and Ella Martin.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur, Louisiana. Tom Bruce and Donald Dukes will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 25 from 5-9 p.m. and continue on Friday from 8 a.m. until service time in the chapel. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In lieu of floral gifts the family request donations are made to First Baptist Church of Sulphur. The family expresses their appreciation to West Cal-Cam Home Health and Brighton Bridge Hospice.
