A native of Jennings, Randy resided in Sulphur for most of his life. He was an industrial painter and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Larry and Julie Doucet of Sulphur; brothers, Shawn Doucet and wife Karen of Carlyss; Marty Doucet and wife Tracy of Sulphur; nephew, Kirkland Doucet; and his longtime friend, Darlene Natali of Sulphur.
He is preceded in death by his son, Cory Deshotel; and father, Terry Deshotel.
A gathering of friends and family will be held 3–5 p.m. Thursday with a memorial service at 5 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Pettefer will officiate. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
