Rebecca Jean "Becky" Doherty, was born on January 25, 1958 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Carolyn Bryant Ancelet and Isaac Mays. She departed this life on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at MD Anderson Cancer Center due to an aggressive form of Leukemia.
Becky was retired after working in property management for more than 30 years. She enjoyed karaoke, traveling, listening to Elvis Presley with her sister, spending time with her family, and watching many, many hours of crime shows with her granddaughter. She was also known for volunteering with Little Troopers to help families of local soldiers at Christmas time. Becky will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She wanted to be remembered for the joy she brought to others, not the sadness of her passing.
