Ricky Jean Gallegos

He was a lifelong resident of the Sulphur - Hackberry area. He loved to fish and hunt. Ricky was a very skilled and valued crane operator.

Survivors include his mother, Hazel Gallegos of Hackberry; two sons, Brandon Gallegos and wife Amber, and Brady Gallegos of Sulphur; his siblings, Juanita Nunez and husband, Carroll of Hackberry, Gloria Ellender and husband, Fred of Sulphur, Marguerita Gallegos of Sulphur, Gabe Gallegos and wife Beverly of Sulphur; six grandchildren, Recelynn, Ceslee, Zelie, Bradley, and Magdalene Gallegos, and Jaxon Forgette.

He is preceded in death by his father, Perfecto Gallegos Sr; brother, Perfecto Gallegos Jr, and niece Tisha Tingler.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry. Reverend Bino Poovannikunnel, M.S., will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Hixson - Sulphur Memorial.
