Robert “Rob” Earl Boyd was a free spirit who loved to travel around the states with his wife's granddaughters Taylor and Karlin to their dance competitions. He loved spending time with his family on the road listening to his favorite CLASSIC ROCK. His passion in life was making his wife of 36 years the happiest she could ever be. He loved her with every fiber of his soul. His other passions were hunting, fishing and just being outside and enjoying the outdoors. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and made sure he did whatever he possibly could to give them what they needed. He will be greatly missed by all his family but OUR FREE SPIRIT IS FINALLY FREE.
Rob is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Steven Boyd.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years Carolyn Boyd; son, Durl Leboeuf and wife Sheila of Sulphur, LA; daughters, Tressie Gardner and husband Chris, Tina Messina and Chuck both of Sulphur, LA; brother, James Boyd of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Justin, Blake, Brittany LeBoeuf, Karlin Doucet, Taylor and Sammy Messina, Taylor Bellon, and Greyson Gardner; great-grandchildren, Jaylene, Justin Jr., Amberlee, Bryson LeBoeuf, Klarke and Volton Doucet, Gryffin Richard, Jaxon and Brexlee LeBoeuf, Sage and Braxton Bellon; sister-in-law, Celia Reeves; brother-in-laws, Thomas, Gary, James, Henry, Keith Fee and a host of family and friends.
