Robert was a Lake Charles native and lived in Orange, Texas since 1963. He was a lifetime member of both the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Ella Ruth Breaux; son Mark Breaux and his fiance Kathie McGrath, of Granger, Indiana; brother, Wallace Breaux and his wife Linda, of Toledo Bend; sisters, Murilla Daigle of Chloe, Netta Cormier of Carlyss, Linda Newman and her husband Kenneth, of Westlake, and Joyce Trout and her husband Donald, of Carlyss; and grandchildren, Nicole Klota, and Benjamin Breaux.
He is preceded in death by his mother Eldine Trahan.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 20, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral. The Rev. Edward Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine. The Rev. Roland Vaughn will officiate at the cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. and from 8-10 a.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.
