Robert "Butch" Lamar Mullinax, 68, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Sulphur, Louisiana. He was born on August 23, 1954 in Dalton, Georgia. He enjoyed Nascar Racing, RC Cars, and loved trying to tinker with various items. Butch also enjoyed road trips with his girlfriend, Kay Whitman. He was also a big animal lover.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Mullinax; son, Chad Mullinax; grandson, Jacob A. Mullinax; and various aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; his girlfriend of 12 years, Kay Whitman; various special friends and colleagues; along with his fur baby, Nugget, who he loved dearly.
Butch is preceded in death by his father, R.L. Mullinax; sister, Judy Mullinax Bowman; grandmother, Etta Mae Quarles; along with his aunt, Betty Quarles.
A Celebration of Butch's life will be held at a later date in his hometown of Dalton, Georgia.
