Ronnie Louis Robinson was born on november 6th 1971 to parents JAMES LUTHER ROBINSON and EUNICE MURPHY ROBINSON. He had one brother JOHNNY JAMES ROBINSON. they were life long residents of the vinton, edgerly, sulphur areas.
Even as a child he was interested in motor vehicles, I remember a story of the boys being punished for stealing gasoline out of their parents cars and replacing it with rocks and dirt, so they could put the gas in their peddle cars so they would run. (peddle cars didn't run on gas but by foot power alone) He always enjoyed taking apart motors only to rebuild them and figure out how they worked. He attended school at Vinton High which was 1st through 12th grade all in one school. He met his wife BRENDA JOYCE PAGO in Feb. 1969, they courted 1 year 9 months then were married on friday november 13th 1970. They had five children BRUCE JAMES ROBINSON, SUZANNE DENISE ROBINSON, MICHELLE LEA ROBINSON, RONNI NICOLE ROBINSON, and MICHAEL JUSTIN ROBINSON.
He served in the u.s. national guard from feb. 1972 till feb. 1978. he was a man of many trades a shrimper, a mechanic, a carpenter, but mostly a tower-rat in the refinery. He traveled all over the u.s.
He was a big fan of Ann Rice and Stephen king novels. He enjoyed reading. And watching the movies. He left this life on friday january 13th 2006. He would get a thrill out of the fact he went on friday the 13th, you know being the fan of horror he was.
Some people say your days on earth are numbered, well Ronnie lived 19731 days. Many people don't make that many, those of us left hope to make at least that many but never know.
He will always be deeply missed and always remembered in the hearts of us who loved him the most. He will always be remembered when we hear a harley run, or an old timing car ride by.
Til we see you again, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
