Roy worked for over fifty-three years in the oil industry, here in the U.S. and internationally. He began his career at the young age of fifteen and worked his way up to the "Company Man". Roy loved his wife dearly, his devoted family, and would give help to anyone in need.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years 9 months, Judy Milliman, a son, Edward Milliman, father, Ivy Milliman, mother, Rita Alleman, brothers, Alpha and Lloyd Milliman, and a sister, Martha Breaux.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Crystal Hayes, Candace Billbo, and Lynn Burton and husband, Robert; son, James Milliman; a sister, Dianna Meaux and husband, Billy; brother-in-law, Jeff Darbonne and wife, Hope; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Rev. Steve James will officiate. Burial will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Eunice, Louisiana.
