Terrie brought an energetic spirit and an outgoing warmth to the lives around her, meeting others with an open heart and a steady willingness to help. Adventurous by nature, she found joy in new places and shared experiences, and her generosity was felt in the many ways she showed up and supported her family and friends in any way she could.
Terrie worked as a travel planner who wanted to share her love of travel with others. That same enthusiasm for seeing the world was reflected in her own travels, including cruises and time spent exploring new destinations. She also cherished simpler pleasures: bowling with friends and in tournaments, time with her beloved dogs, and watching her grandchildren play sports—moments that brought her particular pride and happiness.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wesley Texada of Livingston, and Kary Texada (Rebecca) of Prairieville; grandsons, Cameron Wade Texada and Hunter Greyson Texada; and her brother Robert Earl “Trey” Loomis III of Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Warren Texada and her parents, Clara and Robert Loomis II.
A Celebration of Terrie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Hixson Celebrant Jody Espinosa will lead the celebration. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
