Wormy was a lifelong resident of Big Woods. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, trapping and shrimping.
Survivors include his eight children, Debra Walter and husband William, Cindy and husband Chris, Margaret Reeves, all of Sulphur, Jerry Berry and wife Julie, Billy Berry and wife Fredricka, Chad Berry and wife DeDe, Mikey Berry and wife Shonda, all of Big Woods, Ricky Berry and wife Robyn of Orange, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Nell Berry; one daughter, Elizabeth Berry of Big Woods.
His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, in the Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, La. The Rev. Russel Beard will officiate.
