Wendi was a native and lifelong resident of Carlyss, LA and a 1981 graduate of Sulphur High School. She was employed by W.R. Grace for many years. Wendi had a passion for her kids and grandkids, devoting her time to activities they were involved in, including Rodeo, livestock, and sports. One of her favorite past times was fishing and the outdoors. Wendi had a green thumb and loved gardening and tending to her flower beds. She was a very caring and strong woman (both physically & mentally) that was always willing to listen and put others first. Stories of Wendi's unique character will always be remembered by her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Brent Clement of Sulphur, LA; her children, Cody Clement (Hollie) of Carlyss, LA, Cristen Clement of Bossier City, LA, Cade Clement (Santana) of Carlyss, LA; her grandchildren, Cole Ford and Chasen Clement; her brother, Ricky "Bubba" Stacy of Carlyss, LA; her mother-in-law, Doris Finnigan of Carlyss, LA; her father-in-law, Arden Clement (Betty) of Kinder, LA; and a host of extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Artie Gayle and Mona Faye McCullen Stacy; her siblings, Scotty Stacy and Vickie Stacy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
The family would like to give special thanks to her nurse, Misty Ellender with Heart of Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Wendi.
