Wiley Pierce Dunn Jr.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Wiley was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as an operator for many years with Conoco until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and riding his motorcycle, however his biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Mays Dunn of Carlyss; his children, Ronnie Dunn and wife, Vickie, Jerry Dunn and wife, Genny, and Rhonda Stelly and husband, Dennis, all of Carlyss; his siblings, Jerry Dunn of Logansport, Ruth Moseley of Haughton, and Mary Deprang of Keithville; fifteen grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Grant, Francesca, Dominique, Philip, Madison, Justin, Ryan, Rhonda, Colin, Taylor Alice, Shelby Grace, Payton, Brennan, and Cheyenne; and six great-grandchildren, Lola, Hoyt, Greta, Griffin, Gaines, and Hart. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay Dunn; a grandson, Michael Dunn; and a granddaughter, Savannah Hickman.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Sheri Zehner will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
