William’s journey began in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, where he was born to the late Howard Jones Sr. and Esther Jones on September 3, 1963. A man of strong work ethic and dedication, William spent over 10 proud years working as a dispatcher for Devall Towing.
Known affectionately as "Will," he lived life with a vibrant spirit. He found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life: working hard, soaking up the sun at the beach, and sharing laughs with his cherished friends and family. Some of his favorite moments were spent doing scratch-offs with his daughter, creating memories filled with hope and laughter.
His legacy of love and joy lives on through his two children, Alex Jones (Stephanie) and Kelsey Jones, both of Sulphur; his two grandchildren, Adeline Jones and Easton Jones; his five brothers, Glenn Hallman, David Jones, Howard Jones, Timothy Jones, and Jonathan Jones; his two sisters, Jennifer and Janice; several nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of close friends whom he considered true family.
William is reunited in peace with his parents and his brother, Tom Jones.
In keeping with Will’s simple and joyful approach to life, there will be no formal visitation or funeral services. Instead, his family asks that you celebrate his memory in your own special way. If you wish to honor his life with a gift, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in his name.
