Doug was a skilled craftsman who loved making things with his hands. He was also a very talented musician. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be remembered forever.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are daughter, Heather Icenogle and husband, Brinson of Humble, TX; daughter, Angie Roberts of Kansas City, MO; son, Adam Thompson and wife, Angela of Sulphur; daughter, Kimberly Owens and husband, Sonny of Sulphur; ten grandchildren, Destinee, Nikki, Casey, Brandon, Ashlynne, Charlie, Alexis, Katherine, Sebastian, and Serenity.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Roberts, and his parents, Bill and Jean Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
