Daniel Dan Lee Nehls

Daniel L. Nehls, 63, of Bonney Lake, WA, was received in Heaven on Monday, January 10th, 2011. He died at home peacefully of natural causes. Viewing will be held Saturday January 15th from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner. Services will be held on Monday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Church in Sumner with Father Jack officiating. He was born on April 2nd, 1947 in Dubuque, IA, son of Earl and Helen Nehls. He was the second oldest of nine children. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1968 with honors. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eileen Mary Nehls, his two children, and seven grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and will be forever missed.
