

Jimmy (Wayne) Morgan, 61, of Fircrest, Washington passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. He was surrounded by those most dear to him.
Born in Columbus, Georgia to Robert E. and Betty J. (Cobb) Morgan, Wayne is survived by his wife, Cherie; daughter McKenzie; his mother; and sisters Gwen (Gary) Morgan-Edwards, Diane Morgan and Linda (Martin Stice) Cella. He also leaves behind his aunts, uncle and an extended family of nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved.
A long-time resident of Washington, Wayne graduated from Petaluma High School in Petaluma, California, joined the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict and married the love of his life. Wayne loved classic cars, woodworking and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Our hearts are heavy but our memories will be sweet. “Keep Me in Your Heart for Awhile.”
A celebration of the life of this cherished human being is being planned by his family. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to “The TreeHouse” of Tacoma General/Mary Bridge Hospital.
