Keith Hastings Rawson

Keith Hasting Rawson, 91, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Tacoma General Hospital. He was born January 6, 1926, and was a Corporal in the Marines during WWII. He met his beautiful bride, Mabel Alice Riggs, after the war and they married in 1947 in Ludlow, Kentucky. Besides his wife, Mabel, he is survived by his Son, Daniel Keith Rawson; Daughter, Susan Carol Wells; Daughter, Colleen M Logan; Sisters Phyllis and Carol; Grandchildren, Jeff Wells, Tammy Damon, Maile Oca, Jamie Rawson, Courtney Kaperick and Karly Logan; Great Grandchildren; Moreen Oca, Kayla Wells, Matthew Oca, Dalton Damon, Drew Damon, Noah Kaperick and Amellia Kaperick. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lucille. He was inurned with Military Honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.

God saw him getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put His arms around him and whispered “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
