Manuel Cota Vierra III

Manuel Cota Vierra passed away on September 21st, 2017. A loving husband to Meredith, a cherished Dad to Monica (Ed) Reynolds, a treasured Papa to Loren and Corisa. Manny was thrilled to be a Great Papa to his precious Sophia and was the proud Uncle to 17 nieces and 16 nephews.

Manny was preceeded in death by his Father, Manuel Vierra and Mother Rose Vierra who previously lived in Henderson, Nevada; George (Margo) Vierra who had resided in Rogue River, Oregon.

Manny was survived by his loving sisters, Rose Cox of Campbell, CA; Trudy Vierra of Campbell, CA along with his loving brothers Gil (Val) Vierra of Arizona and Frank (Marilyn) Vierra of Antioch, CA.

Manny retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp after 34 years of dedicated service. Manny loved to draw and if you were lucky enough to see his work, you would see a keen eye for detail and incredible talent. Manny had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh! He was so happy to be active in Monica’s school clubs and Girl Scout Troop. Manny truly loved his family above all else and will be greatly missed!

At Manny’s request, there will be no Funeral. In lieu of flowers, Manny requested donations be made to either MAKE A WISH or THE HUMANE SOCIETY as those were near and dear to his heart.
