Just want to say we love and miss you very much

I've been thinking about you a lot these past few days. I've been following the Mariners this season for you. They're third in their division but they've won more games than the Yankees this year(and the Mets)...so that's something. 
Probably you already know all this. I'm pretty confident that they have baseball in Heaven.

Time has gone by so fast since you passed I can't believe its almost 17 months already since we said goodbye to you . I think of you and mom every day . Wishing that I could have just one more day to say how much you mean to me . Having you live here with me was such a blessing , I loved your hugs and good night kisses , every time I think of you I smile because I love you , all I ever wanted was for you was to be happy and knowing where you are now, you must smile every day . Good afternoon Grandma , I sure do miss you . Having tea or coffee with you in the morning was so enjoyable . Hearing stories from your younger years were very interesting to . I think I'm gonna have a get to together with my kids and grand kids and anyone else that wants to celebrate your 100th birthday in 2016, I know that's a few years away but I thought I would share it with you now . We went to Jesse and Erika's on Sunday to celebrate Connor's 1st birthday . Then just yesterday Jerod,Josiah ,Hollie,Matt and I went to see a movie together and that was a lot of fun . Hi granny, I don't have to ask how you are doing.  I know you are doing great.  I wish they had phones in Heaven being as I am such a horrible letter writer.  I talk to you all the time and I am pretty sure you can hear me as it says in Scripture that God and Jesus can hear us and I am pretty sure that they will let y'all hear us when we talk to you too.

Every time I think about you living with us it makes me smile , just because you were everything to me and Matt, we had a lot of good times with you,  even if we didn't do much running around at least we spent quality time with you .My mornings were always enjoyable with you , and I do miss those times .You made a big impact on me that's not something I say about just anyone . It's been a while since I put a message on your book I have no excuse for taking so long . I still need to go through my tubs so I can add many more pictures to your book . I think of you and mom every day and yes I wish I could see you again but I know that won't happen til its my time to go home with Jesus . I talked to Aunt Bonnie this morning she is doing ok , she mentioned the rosebush that I had gotten for mom is blooming again , its the ketchup and mustard bush that mom really liked . I talked to Kathy the other day she seems to be doing good I can't wait for her to come over and hang out for the day , we always have a good time visiting . Happy Mothers Day sweet Mother of mine. I love you and miss you.

Well its been a few weeks since I put a message on your book . Not a lot has happened around here except the fact that Levi is up to his old ways again . Good news he will be 18 soon . I talked to Uncle Rudy the other day he is keeping himself busy working in their yard . He said Missi is doing much better now especially after they had her spayed . I wish you could see the pup I think you would be very pleased with her . The kids are doing good , very busy with their jobs or taking care of the little ones . We got together on Easter we met at Wildwood Park it was a lot of fun I brought Ham and Rolls everyone else brought veggie trays or chips and pop . The kids got to have a egg hunt around this small creek and on this hill side . A lot of fun but the grand kids got so muddy . I laughed but Amy and Cola weren't laughing because they had to take the kids home and give them bathes . Well I'm gonna stop writing for now . Love and Miss you so much . Well ma. Tomorrow you would have been 98. So I'm telling you Happy Birthday today. I love you and miss you very much but I know you are in my heart so to me you are never really gone.

It's me again I thought I would put a message on your book just letting you know I miss you so much . I was talking to Kathy the other day about how I have to take the time to go through all my photos of you and get them into your book so everyone else can enjoy them to . I'm sure everyone has at least one pic of you I just wish they would add the pics to your book . I feel better knowing that your book will stay online for another year , it's sort of a comfort being able to write my thoughts to you . I went up to Amy's today and we went to see Tessa at her school she received an award for having a lot of patients it was nice to hear them call her up to the front of the gym . She was pretty happy to see us there . Of course Skyler was being himself (energetic).Greyson was quiet and just sat on his mom's lap . After it was over we took the girls home but on the way home we had to stop and pick Haylie up . The kids are getting so big I can't believe how much time has already gone by. I had to keep your book online for one more year I think we owe that to you . You always did so much for everyone else while you were here with us , its about time someone does something good for you even after your passing . I love you so much and always will .As soon as I get a new scanner I will be putting more pics into your book . I hope people will take advantage of your book staying online for one more year . Hi grandma, it's me. I know what a shock, two days in a row. Writing has never been my strong suit as you know. I would much rather pick up a phone and hear your voice. When I call out to Brenda and Matt's it says Grandma Cole. I don't think I will ever change that. 
I went out and visited with Brenda about a month ago. It was nice to see her. She is so awesome, such a cool person. I like spending time with her. 
When I put the picture of you and Airan on here yesterday, I also put a picture of you and Grandpa Cole on here, I hope you like it, I sure do.
I have your big green sweater. I wear it all the time, it makes me feel close to you. Sometimes, when I really miss you I will wrap my arms around me really tight and it's kind of like getting a hug from you. I miss you so much granny. I love you so much.

Hi grandma, just wanted to send you a little note to say Hi, tell you I love you and let you know that I finally got that picture of you and Airan on here. The picture was taken out in Yelm, August of 1998, You were 82 and Airan was turning 2 in September. He will be 18 this year. My how time flies.

I put a message on Mom's book today . Like I wrote to her the time has gone by so much faster since you've passed . The two year anniversary of Mom's passing is coming so fast , I'm not sure if I'm really ready for it . The funeral for Mike Compton was really nice considering it was a sad day for everyone , what I mean by nice is how Nickie set it up , people were dressed in camo clothes even my kids had their camo on . The day was so beautiful the sun shined so bright and the sky was really blue . The news crew was there from channel 4 . They talked to Nickie right after the service , she said it was a day to celebrate because that's what Mike would of wanted . Losing you and Mom was hard for me and I still have my  bad days , but I'm not ever gonna know what its like to have a loved one taken away in the horrible way Mike was taken from all of us . God did bless us with you . I really miss your smile and your cute little waddle when you walked . You always gave the softest hugs and the sweetest kisses on the cheek . Matt and I were talking about how you made our lives better when you came to live with us . You always taught me things through out my time growing up but I think that when you came to live with me is when I learned the most important things , which was to do any and everything for the ones you love :) if I was asked to do it over again I would without any hesitation because your so worth it . I got a call this morning from Uncle Rudy letting me know that Johnny has passed away today . Its sad news but at the same time who would want him to suffer anymore with that heart condition .At least he took the time last year and came up to see you , I know that meant a lot to you and I was happy to see you smile when he walked into the room .You helped to raise him and Molly after their mom passed at a very young age years ago . Good Morning Grandma , its almost been a year since you went to be with Mom . I'm amazed on how the time went by so fast . There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not thinking of you and Mom . A big part of me still wishes I had the two of you here with me . Kathy wants to come out this Friday ,just to catch up on things . I told her about my condition as well as letting the kids know and also Aunt Lin and Aunt Bonnie . I don't want anyone to panic , because I'm trying not to get to worried about it . I know I have you and Mom watching over me and that's very comforting . Hi Grandma, It's January 2, 2014. A year ago today, You went home to Brenda's from the hospital. It had been a long six weeks in the hospital for you and you were getting to go home. 
I am not glad that you were in the hospital, I am glad though that Brenda and I reconnected and got to share the experience to being with you for the final days of your journey here with us. I am so proud of her (Brenda), she is such an awesome woman. 
I miss you so very much. I think about you each and every day. In six weeks, it will be a year that you have been gone to be with Jesus. It has been a long year with you gone. I know you are in a much better place and that I will see you again, I love you granny. Your granddaughter, Kathy

Hi Aunt Marie, well it is a new year for us down here, I know there is no real time up there but for us it is the begining of another year without you and so many of our other loved one's, so we want you and the other's to know we love and miss you all so much, but also know you are happy and healthy again. Today marks one year since the ordeal of you having a stroke . So many things have changed in our lives mainly we don't have you with us anymore .That day was a very sad day for me and other family members , I remember having to call Uncle Rudy and Aunt Bonnie to inform them of what had just happened to you .I had an idea of what they were feeling since just six and a half month earlier I lost my mom , ( your daughter ) its not something I like to see anyone go through . The one positive thing that did come out of this sad ordeal was the fact that Kathy and I reconnected . We made the best of it during your hospital stay and even after you got to come home . I miss you just as much as I did the day you left us to be with Jesus , I'm not sure when that sad feeling will ever get better . You were and are my only grandma and I think the world of you even after your passing . I love and miss you so much . Love Your Grand Daughter Brenda :)

Aunt Marie... It is hard knowinh you are now with your love one's in Heaven, it is selfish wishing you were still here, but I can't help it I do. You were so good to me, and the rest of us kid's, but just know how much we love you. Love you Linda

Hi again ma. I talked to Dot the other day and she misses you and the phone calls a lot too. I still head to the phone to call you and Rodie and have to remind myself that is a call you can answer but I can still send messages to you and Rodie this way. Dwayne had a tumor removed from his upper back, right below his neck. It was the size of a tennis ball but they believe it is benign. They are having it biopsied just in case. I sure do miss you and Rodie and love you both so much.

I really missed not having you here on Thanksgiving . Last year was nice but at the same time sad . My kids knew how I was feeling yesterday and they made everything so much better just by being themselves . All 9 of my grand kids were in the same house for the first time and I loved it . I want my grand kids to love me the way I have always loved you . And so far I think I have that with them . I really miss not having you here with us , You were a big part of our lives and the memories will always be a big part of my life . Well I've got to get off here for now have things to do . Hi Granny, 
It's been a couple days past nine months since you went home to be with Jesus. I still miss you as much as the day you left. I know you are in a much better place, with Aunt Rosie and not in pain anymore and I am trying to take comfort in that. I think about you all the time. 
I find myself talking to you like I used to when I have a problem. I know what the answer you would give me if you were here would be, I think, it's the sound of you voice I'm waiting for and it's just not coming. I can hear it in my heart, just not in my ears. I don't know if that makes sense or not. 
I just miss you I guess. 
I wish I had more time in my day so I could spend more time with Brenda, I miss seeing her. I went and saw her in October after one of my doctor's appointments.  We had a really good visit.  Since you have gone home I have lost 70 pounds. Don't worry, I'm okay. I know Brenda is worried, I told her not to but she is still I think. 
I love you granny. I sure wish I could tell you that one more time and just hug you once more.

It seems like time is just going by so fast, I think of you everyday and night I even have dreams with you in it . But then the reality sets in when I wake up and know that your not here with us . I talked to Aunt Bonnie yesterday , she is going through the same emotional roller coaster than I am . There's good days and sad days :( I don't think its selfish for anyone to wish you and mom were still here , its more of the fact that we love you so much and I know that our love for you won't ever go away but it would be nice to be able to just tell you that or give you one more hug , and then hear you say God Bless You . Its been a long year I remember the day and date you got that flu shot and the day you fell and the day I had to call 911 because your sugar level dropped and you were taken into the hospital and then the worst day is when you had that TIA. I remember asking you are you gonna die and all you could do is mumble , that's when I called Josiah to come help me get you into bed and then the paramedics came and took you back into the hospital that was Dec 11TH , now on that same day but a year later Cola had to go in for a major surgery , I hope you and mom will be right there keeping a close watch over her. Jesse, Erika and little Conner are all settled in now . You would of loved to of held Conner , he is so cute and smiles all the time . Well I'm gonna stop writing for now I have house work to do . Good Morning :) its been a while since I wrote anything to you ,but it doesn't mean that I don't think of you everyday .Aunt Lin and Uncle Rudy came by this past weekend and took their pup home . They both look really good . I was really looking forward to your 100th birthday and the celebration you were gonna have with my kids .But as we found out things change and we don't always get to keep our plans . Kathy stopped by last week and had coffee with me . She is so busy helping people out .I don't know how she does it running around everyday , from her job to church to helping at the food bank and now taking care of a friend . There's not enough time in the day but somehow she makes it work . Matt & I do a lot of running around but its for Levi . We're gone 3 days a week taking him to his appointments and then if the courts throw in a date for him to appear we do that to . Its very tiring .Not to mention Matt works 12 hour days now , so he doesn't get much time for himself either . All the kids are doing OK . I sure do miss not having you around . I remember you always talking about celebrating your 100th birthday, I don't blame you for not wanting to continue living after the horrible thing you experienced that night mom passed .Before that day you had such high hopes for living . Once in a while I'll see an elderly women in a store and she reminds me of you , the way she walks or holds her purse while trying to pay for the groceries . Things won't ever be the same now that you and mom are gone but I do have a sense of peace just knowing you two are together again and for eternity . well ma, I just wanted to say, i love you and miss you as much as ever. I know you are no longer in pain and that is the only saving grace of losing you. There isn't a day goes by that i wish i could call you but you know how much you are loved. Rodie's flowers are still blooming but the cold weather is slowing that down a lot. Spring will again bring their beauty to the forefront. I love you ma.

Hi Grandma; its been a while since I put a message on your book and I'm sorry for that . There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of you . You were the rock of the family :) You had a lot of wisdom and your childhood stories were very interesting, some were sad cause of what you went through but most of your stories were interesting . You were one amazing women I hope I can be half of what you were . You stayed strong when times were tough and raised your 4 kids all by yourself , that says a lot about you . The short time you lived here with us was really good for us . You showed everyone just who you were , the best person ever . I think everyone is still trying to adjust to their birthday's and anniversaries going by and not getting that special card from you with your heart warming message to each and every one of us . I found my last years birthday card and it was hard to read it cause your message was so pure and true and it was written just for me . With the technology the way it is now days were everyone either e mails or texts their family and friends , you were the only I know that still took the time to hand write your letters . Hi Granny,
I love you, I miss you so very much. I have had people tell me that the hurt of missing will get better with time. Right now, I don't think so.  I miss your smile, I miss you telling me you love me and I miss getting to tell you how much I love you. I just miss you.  One of these days I am going to go out and spend the day with Brendy, just to hang out. I am so glad Brenda and I reconnected, that is the one of the great things that has come out of all of this. 
Brendy's daughter, Cola, sent me a birthday card this year, I thought that was so sweet of her. She is going to take over that legacy for you. Brendy did such and awesome job raising her babies. I know how proud you are of her. I am too.
Christy is working really hard at her job and looking for a better on so she can move to Oregon once Airan turns 18 next year, so be closer to the other three boys. She is also thinking about going back to Nursing school, which I am encouraging very strongly.
Erika and Ian will be coming home for a couple days this month to visit. 
Ashley is in school taking the classes she needs before she can start her Nursing classes. Both Michael and Ella are doing well, they start school tomorrow and I am just going day by day. I'll try to do better about writing.
I am so glad you are in a better place. I love you and miss you every day.

They always say time heals all wounds but what about the emptiness that we feel ,how does that heal . Every day something reminds me of you , whether it be something I cooked or a smell of the freshener you would spray in the room. I talk or text Aunt Bonnie just about every week and text Aunt Lin about the same . Uncle Rudy seems to being doing good these days , still has that same crazy personality which I love . I think they are coming over here soon I,  I can't wait to see them . Kathy is gonna come stay for the day soon that should be fun . We had a lot of good times when she'd come to the hospital or to the house here .Jerod & Hollie came up last night, it was good to see them . They are both working pretty steady now , which is nice . Cortney is going back to school to extend her dental schooling cause it will pay better after she has completed it . Jeremiah and Josiah are doing about the same , playing video games and working on the car that I gave him . You remember the one Elsie gave me before she passed away .To me its a boat but to Josiah is his dream car . Amy is doing Ok , she needs to go back into the Dr for more testing and Cola is gonna have more surgeries again , its kind of scary but its something that she needs to have done .And Jesse is also doing the count down to them moving here .Conner is growing so fast . Well am, I sure did miss the birthday card you always sent. I will keep the ones I have forever. Told Rodie on her page that i missed her calling and saying"happy birthday , you old bag. Again its been awhile since I left a message for you . I can't believe that its been 6 months already since you went to live with Jesus :) There's not a day that I don't think of you and mom , things are so different now that you two aren't around anymore . I did hear from my niece back in March , she let me know that her daughter went to heaven , as sad as it was at least the baby is up there with you . I haven't heard anymore from her since then . Well Ma, just wanted to say I love you dearly and it's still hard for me to realize that I can't call you on the phone. I have no idea how many times I went to the phone to call you and Rodie and felt your loss all over again. Talking to Brendy helps alot. It's been a while since I put a message in your book sorry for taking so long . I took a few pics of your room I thought it would add a nice touch to your book . I sure do miss you , I made oatmeal for Matt this morning and I thought of you cause I remember how for you it had to be just right not to thick or to thin . I know I keep saying the same things over and over but its really hard for me not having you and mom around to talk to . I even miss not taking mom shopping on the 3rd of every month . Mom use to get so frustrated with the long grocery list . But I loved how you always put everything into its own category . I know it was your time to go but it still seems like you left us to soon . Well I finally got the closet cleaned out I thought it was gonna be hard to pack up your clothes but I did pretty good , it bothered me at first when I was folding the dresses that Jerry and I bought you many many years ago . There was a lot of clothes though it filled three boxes . Someone else can now enjoy those beautiful dresses just like you did for so many years. You had so many sweaters , most of the sweaters are from what Sharon brought to you last fall cause she didn't want you to get cold during the winter months . I haven't went through your personal items yet and I don't know when I will. I'm keeping all the blankets here that Aunt Bonnie made for you and mom , cause I know how much they meant to you and mom not to mention the fact that all those blankets are so pretty and very detailed . I'm sure don't have the talent like Aunt Bonnie , everything she makes turns out so nice . The outfit she made for Conner is so cute I haven't gotten a pic yet with it on him but I'm sure I will eventually .I might have to put a bug into Jesse's ear about it . I sure did enjoy having you here even if it was only for that short time . You fulfilled all my wants and needs that a grandchild could ask for . Well Ma, I've been trying to send you a message for weeks but I couldn't find much new to say. So I guess I'll just say "I love you so much and miss you all the time. " I still can't put myself around losing you and Rodie so close together and Iris too. I love you.

I was just looking at the pics on your book . You are one beautiful lady . I know you didn't live here for very long but in the pics you sure seemed happy always smiling .And that's nice to look back on now , It makes me feel better seeing you look so happy . I guess I never imagined my life without you and mom being around so that whenever I had a question  or a problem I could call and talk to you two . I still want to call and talk to you or mom but this is the closest to talking I can do now . I hope you are enjoying eternity , I really don't know what it's like being there in heaven but my heart feels with warmth every time I just think about it though ,so it has to be the best place to be after death . It's hard for me to believe that you've been gone over 4 months already . I just wrote another message to mom telling her about my trip to Arizona . I was there to see my 9th grand child born it was the best .Jesse and Erika named their son Conner Jeffrey Smith and he's a cutie . I got him to smile before I had to leave . His eyes just twinkled when I whistled at him . I know that your watching over all the kids and that does bring me some comfort . I went shopping at the Walmart out in Yelm today and it brought back a lot of memories for me . I kept looking at the flowers and thinking of mom and then when I went into the grocery section I thought of you when I seen the apple sauce and mixed fruits , cause I know how much you liked those snacks . I really miss not having you here to answer the questions that pop into my head about mom . I love you so much and I know that your in a better place now . I forgot to mention Conner was born on June 17 2013 at 6:55 am . I was really happy that he came on Dave's birthday .  I will write again to you soon . Love your grand daughter Brenda :)

I can't believe how fast these months have gone by . Tomorrow will be a year since you and I pulled out of Mom's place for the final goodbye . Hi Grandma, I love you and miss you so very much. Not a day goes by that i don't think about you. Today is a little difficult for me, cause every year as far back as I can remember I always got that special birthday card from you and I got to read the sweet message you always wrote inside . And of course the 5 dollars that always seem to come in handy was also nice to get . You seemed to always find good in things that looked bad , you had that way about you . You always seemed to have a smile on your face . You always fooled people with your age , people didn't believe that you were up in your 90's . You had beautiful skin and you never had to wear makeup , your beauty was natural .With everyone's birthdays coming up or just past we all miss not getting that special card from you . That is one of the things that I miss is not getting those cards on special occasions . I gave all the unused cards to Cola cause she wants to keep that legacy going . well its been over two months since I lost you , I'm so happy for you cause you are there with a lot of your siblings and your parents even a few great great grand babies that were taken before we could hold them or soon after we were able to hold them . I know their all in good hands with you up there . I really miss you but I still have the most calmest feeling  cause I feel like I did everything I could for you . I still haven't went through your closet I just can't seem to bring myself to do it yet . I went to the closet the other day and I grabbed your purple dress you know the one with the butterflies and when I smelled it I started crying cause your smell is still on all your clothes and that was nice to know . I'm not in any hurry to pack your things . I really miss not making you , your special tea in the mornings I really loved waiting on you . You use to tell me not to but how could I not you were one special grandma to me . I remember just days before you passed I climbed on your hospital bed with you and man it was so uncomfortable cause I had to pull the out from the wall and lay on the edge cause I didn't want to take up to much room . You seemed to like having me lay next to you and I needed to do that for myself . Then I slept on the floor next to your bed cause I was afraid you would pass away and I wouldn't be there . But it all worked out just the way I wanted and needed it to . Thank God for that . He sure does answer prayers .I sent Aunt Lin a pic of Scout yesterday I just wanted her to see how nice he's starting to look not to mention how big he's getting . ShaWaSee hasn't grown anymore but that's ok she is still a great dog . She gets all affectionate with me when she knows I'm writing to you or mom cause she can sense I'm crying and she tries to comfort me which sometimes when she nudges my hands while 'I'm typing it really messing things up , but she means well.I love and miss you so much but I have a lot of comfort knowing that your not in any pain and that your there with my mom . Well grandma, it's been two months since you went home. I think about you all the time. Some days are better than others. I miss you very much. 
I think a lot about the good times we (you, Brenda and me) spent together in the hospital and at Brenda's house before you went home. Sometimes I laugh really hard and sometimes I cry because I miss you so much. I wish I could hug and kiss you just one more time. I love you grandma very much. Love your granddaughter Kathy

Its hard to believe that you've been gone two months already . There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not thinking of you . Knowing where you are does bring me a lot of comfort but the reality of it all is still hard to deal with . I knew that would come sooner or later but just like everyone else I wanted you to stay with us forever .Kathy came over the other night and we had a really good time we laugh but if it hits us we also can shed some tears . I know that in the hospital Kathy and I laughed a lot just because of what you were doing , like flirting with the male nurses .We had two choices then we could sit and cry or laugh with you and I feel me made the better choice with laughing cause it has left us with great memories of you . Out of all this sadness there is some good that has come from it like Kathy and I getting back into each others lives . She really knows what I'm going through cause she stood right there with me til the end . We both lost a good person . At times I felt I was traveling that long miserable road by myself , but then Kathy would show up or call to reassure me that I'm not alone . When your birthday was coming up , she even planned on taking off work that day just to come hang out with me so we could get through the day together . But I let her know everything would be OK cause I knew you had Mom there with you and that was the best gift of all. I just have to keep reminding myself that when I sat right next to your bed and told you I would be OK and that when it was your time to go to just have a smile on your face and enjoy the journey . Aunt Lin and I talked last week and I really enjoyed our conversation it was a long one but a good one , we covered a lot of stuff . I had talked to Aunt Bonnie just prior to that day and we also had a great time talking its still hard for the two of us to talk without crying cause our wounds are still fresh . The one thing I do know is that we all miss you so much but we also know where you are and that does bring a lot of comfort to us . I am going to Arizona in June to be with Jesse and Erika for the birth of my grandson I'm excited but at the same time scared of flying .Well I'm gonna stop writing for now I love and miss you so much .        First ill start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grandma. You know in life we are all  givin the option if  we are good at something like drawing we do it, if we are bad at drawing something we dont. With death we dont get that option. If we are bad at dealing with death or grieving we still have to deal with it.
        Grandma leaving us left our hearts aching but, love for you treasures our memories no one can steal. The thought of you out of pain and in a better place makes us all feel better. You were our gift taken from us but you were a gift givin to us before we came into this world. You were here before us all with open arms. Before we even knew you, before you got to know us. for that we appreciate. For every time we think of you tears fall. 
       Sometime the simplest things will turn them on for instance an older persons hands. O yes on some random lady at Walmart as we were waiting for our food. No to every one in line around me i wasn't tearing up about them taking fish bitz off the menu.Just the look at a pair of hands that have been put through so much. From hard work to holding a baby. The thought of your hands Grandma and how much you achieved. 
     Maybe that is why our tears come in liquid form. If they came in a different form we would gather them all up and build a stairway to heaven to come visit. Im sure we all can say we have shed enoph tears to at least make a step or ten.  
       Im sure some of us still have questions un answered but really you lived such a long and eventfull life we can take eternity asking them.  Well Grandma We truely miss you. But I have to get this in the book and say happy birthday one last time before the day is over. And so I make the list. I may be last on there but im on there. love you Grandma love you always.... Happy 97TH Birthday ,I know your not physically here for us to celebrate this day with you but trust me everyone remembers this special day because you are one special person . How ya doin? Pretty good I bet :) I'm doing okay today, I miss you like crazy and it still hurts really bad. 
I was just cleaning up some stuff in my room and I found the birthday card you sent me for my birthday last year and it hit me that this beautiful card with the goldfinch  sitting on the branch with the little pink flowers will be the last card I ever get from you. 
I am going to put it in my Bible so I have it with me always.I love you so much, you have my heart always.

It's still really hard for me , not being able to walk into your room and sit on the edge of your bed just to talk . I'm so happy that while you were here we were able to talk about a lot of things that were kept a secret , I think it made a big difference for you just knowing that a burden had been lifted off of you . I have so many great memories of us together throughout the years . I can remember when I would go stay with you in Orting and we would watch Lawrence Welk . Ok that wasn't my favorite thing but just being there with you was . I remember when I would sit in front of your TV and watch big time wrestling I use to get so involved with the wrestlers and who was winning . You would tell me not to get so worked up when one of the wrestlers I liked would get hurt . I finally realized later in life that it was all fake . You did leave us with a lot of wonderful memories that we can cherish forever . You always went above and beyond to please the people around you and I think sometimes you weren't given the credit that you so deserved . I always told my kids that I only have one grandma and that you were the best , they would look at me like they might not of understood how I could feel so strongly about you . When my girls became mom's themselves and their kids seen me in that same way that I seen you I think that's when they understood what I was talking about . So thanks for just being you . Ok I have to watch what I say cause now the tears are starting to flow cause I really miss you , and now ShaWaSee is trying to comfort me .I'm having trouble seeing the key board now so I better stop writing for now .I love you so much I could use one more hug from you .
