Nancy Irene Patton, born in Spokane Washington on July 7th, 1948, went to be with the Lord on July 2nd, 2016. She was reunited with her mother, Helen Jackson and her beloved brothers Richard Holien (Cheryl) and Gary Ticen who she loved and missed so much. She is survived by her father, Carl Holien (Maxine); her sister, Shannon Purdum (John); daughter Megan Wiltfong (Rob); her two grandchildren Brandon Nielsen and Breauna Patton (Devin); nieces Yvonne Wafford (Brett) TravenCole , Aeryn), Shonna Cygan (Doug) and Roger Patton and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Nancy, known by many as “bird” or “ma”, was a very loving woman who will be missed by many. She had a great sense of humor and was full of mischief. She enjoyed watching endless hours of Law & Order and enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved her family, her cat (aka “the dog”) and her many friends. She worked at the United States Postal Service in Tacoma for decades and built many relationships that lasted throughout her retirement. After she retired, she enjoyed her freedom to sleep late, watch TV, and take as many naps as she so desired. She was a tiny little lady that has left a huge void in the hearts of those that love her.
There will be a Celebration of Life to share stories and memories of Nancy in her 68 years of life. This celebration will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at 22520 94th St E, Buckley WA 98321 at 1pm (potluck style).
