Orla Marie Grimm

Orla Marie Grimm, 93, of Puyallup, passed away on March 16, 2016. She was born on April 10, 1922 in Benson, MN to Henry and Marie Erickson. Mom was a radio operator for United Airlines during the War, before marrying the love of her life, Paul E. Grimm. Together they traveled wherever the military sent him and their growing family. While Mom worked at Montgomery Ward and enjoyed gardening, the true joy in her life was her family. She is survived by her son, Charles Grimm; daughters, Marie Louise Engleheart, Evelyn Grimm and son in law Thomas E Riechers; sister, Dorothy Lye and three grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul. There will be a Celebration of her life on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner, with burial to follow at Sumner Cemetery. Mom was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
