
Our beloved daughter-in-law, sister, mother, and friend, Pamela C. Mayhew passed away peacefully in Puyallup, WA early in the morning on January 12, 2015, after being diagnosed with her second round of Breast Cancer in early December. Pamela was born in Newark, NJ but moved to Seattle in 1947. Pamela lived her life here in western Washington, and worked for twenty years in the the Pierce County Superior Courts as a Judicial Assistant. Her husband, Alvin D. “Skip” Mayhew, Jr, preceded her in death. She is survived by: Helen Mayhew, mother-in-law, her daughter Wendy Mayhew-Peterson and husband Jeremy Peterson, her two grandchildren Alvin D. “Trey” Mayhew III and Carissa Peterson, and her two sisters, Carole Peterson and husband Michael of Newfoundland, and Paula Hollenbeck of Arkansas. As well as several nephews: Colum (Carole’s son), and Dan, Brad, and Mark Hollenbeck (Paula’s sons).
A Memorial will be held on January 31, 2015 at 3 pm at the Meridian Habitat located at 14422 Meridian Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98375.
