William Bill Lloyd Butler

Born Feb. 3, 1950, in Seattle, Washington, he married the love of his life, Susan Mustoe, on July 11, 1970, in Seattle, Washington. Together they raised two daughters, Debi Butler (married to Eric Lund), Jill Butler (married to Ben Deines).

With a Masters degree in Business Administration, he devoted 36 years to the Boeing Company where he closed his time there working in New Business Mergers and Acquisitions. However, his real passion was his family and this was where he truly excelled. He left as a faithful husband, devoted father, admired grandpa (papa), loving brother, uncle and respected friend. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and his grandchildren who will forever remember the “Charlie horse, riding the ticklebug while playing the banjo”. He leaves behind by his wife of 40 years, Susan Butler of Bonney Lake; daughters, Debi Lund and Jill Deines of Bonney Lake; grandchildren, Colby Lund, Rylie Lund, and Owen Deines; Sister, Connie Butler; Brothers, Dale (Susie) Butler, Dan (Tanya) Butler and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved family. He is preceded in death by his parents Walt and Grace Butler and brother, David. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8th at Powers Funeral Home, 15124 Main Street, Sumner, WA. 98390. Inurnment will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday April 11th at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor be sent to Tacoma Valley Radiation and Oncology Center, 314 Martin Luther King Jr. Way Tacoma, WA. 98405. He shared a passion for The Lord and it shined through in the last hours of his life where he was surround by his wife, daughters, sons, and the closest friends who helped lead him towards the gate of the Lord where his journey continues on……….
