He is preceded by his mother Eva P Cole, his father Bernard Williams and his sister Mamie Williams of Texas.
His final resting place will be at Sunland Memorial Park and Cemetery in Sun City, Arizona.
Al "Slide" Lewis attended Bishop College and Southern University. He had a passion for golf and made several hole-in-one's at Lake Park Golf Course in Lewisville. My father also loved fishing, boating and teaching students at De Lay Middle School.
He was a loving father to his children and adored his four granddaughters.
Al is survived by his wife Theodora Milton-Lewis of Texas, his brother and sister Kenneth and Wanda Willians of Texas, sons Daryl R Johnson of Colorado, Aljean Lewis II of New Jersey and his daughter Amber Lewis-Bowerman of Arizona. His granddaughters Asha of California, Ava and Alyssa of Arizona and Kaizen of Colorado.
