

He was born February 8, 1926 in Harding, MN to Valentine and Sophie (Skwira) Rudolph.
Allen married Virginia “Ginny” Everson February 12, 1949 at St.Theodore’s Catholic Church in Albert Lea, MN.
He was a US Navy veteran serving in WW II on the USS Saratoga. Also a 60 year member of American Legion Post #56 of Albert Lea.
He was a longtime employee and store manager for National Foods. He owned Happy House Cards and Gifts before retiring to AZ in 1984. While in Arizona he also worked for Sun City Recreation Center.
Allen loved golfing, recording 2 holes in 1. He raised Shelties, and was a member of the Kennel Club of Albert Lea. He loved all sports games on TV, especially a BIG fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. In his retirement years he raised flowers, gardens, plants and fruit trees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Virginia of Sun City, AZ; children, Mark of Minneapolis, MN; Gary of Sun City, AZ; Kurt of Moorcroft, WY; Lynn (Gayle “Bud”) Janzen of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Laura (Dr. Reid) Johnson of Iowa City, IA; Cody Janzen of Moorhead, MN; Jeremiah and Tyler Rudolph of Gillette, WY; Aaron Rudolph of St.Paul, MN; great grandson, Franklin Allen Johnson, of Iowa City, IA; brothers, Arthur of Albert Lea and Oliver (Marie) Rudolph of St.Cloud, MN; sister, Virgie (LeRoy) Schreiner of Brainerd, MN. Also surviving to cherish his memory, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by son, Paul; parents, brother, Jerome; sisters in law, Helen, Grace and Lucille Rudolph; father and mother in law, Harold and Mabel (Madson) Everson; brother in law and sister in law, Raymond (Bud) and Elsie Everson; sister and brother in law, Doris and Maurice Mosher.
