Anthony “Tony” Kubat passed away suddenly on June 13, 2014. He was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1932 to Julia Raczowski Kubat and Anthony Kubat. Tony is survived by his wife Jean, son Michael, and step-children James (Cindy), Lynn (Michael) and Wayne. In addition he is survived by his loving grandchildren, Thomas, John, Jennifer, Lianne, Tory and Alexa, and great grandchild Brooklyn. Enlisting in the Navy at 17, Tony served in the Korean War. He was dedicated to honoring those who fought with him and a devoted member of the West Valley Chapter, Korean War Veterans Association of Arizona. He was known for his good will, sense of humor and devotion to family. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd in Sun City.
