

Aphrodite grew up during the 1940’s and 1950’s and was able to experience much of mid-century American to the fullest. Aphrodite was an east coast girl who loved the spirit of the North East. Born is Nashua, New Hampshire she grew up with the weather, the outdoors and the fun nights out with friends and loved ones. Aphrodite was a true spitfire and loved to be around entertainment and equally loved to be a part of the entertainment. She was truly in love with her Greek heritage and enjoyed what came with the live and vibrant Greek culture to the fullest. She could always be found talking and chatting at the family gatherings as well as enjoying Greek dance and cuisine. Aphrodite was a draftswomen by trade during her working years. She loved to talk about the work she was a part of, Politics, religion, current events and especially share memories and moments in time with friends and loved ones. Aphrodite was also a founding member of St. Demetrious Church in California. Devoted to the Lord and the Orthodox Church she was able to touch many lives with her faith and love. Her love for the Lord showed in all she did wither it was talking to a stranger or helping one of her family members. Aphrodite thoroughly loved her family and spent any time she could with them. As A devout Christian, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, family was everything that mattered to Aphrodite.
Aphrodite is survived by her 3 children Steven, Eve and Carmelita as well her grandchildren Stephen, Aja, Ashley and Amber. Aphrodite will also be remembered by her great-granddaughter, Lennon.
Aphrodite was a wonderful and bright woman and was truly a person of authenticity. She will always be remembered as the fun and bright soul that loved to dance and enjoy the company of friends and family. She was a woman that helped build this country and through tough times was able to hold everyone together with faith and love. Aphrodite was deeply loved and will also be deeply missed.
Aphrodite will be laid to rest at Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village, California on September 26, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones.
