There hasn't been a day that i think about Ashley. She was my best friend. I remember the day we met and were literally inseparable. We first met Centennial HS; it was our sophomore year. A mutual friend had introduced us. We became the best of friends from day one. We had so much in common. We just knew we were meant to be friends.. we did nearly everything together.. lol, we did a lot of scheming together too; my fondest memories are shared with her. We went to both Jr and Sr prom together, we both decided to attend ASU together, we were roommates, we joined footklan together, i was with her for very first tattoo--funny story, we had agreed to get tattoos together when we turned 18, we were both scared and excited at the same time but she was brave enough to go through it; matter fact the needle "TICKLED" her; she giggled through the entire session, me on the other hand i chicken out, lol and she would remind me of it every chance she can get and convince me to get one. Ashley was full of life, all smiles! we were never bored together...i miss her and it hurts to know that i can only see her smile in my memories and pictures. I already know how i feel without my best friend and i cannot imagine how her family is feeling. My deepest condolences go out to Anette, Butch and Channing. I love you

Ashley was my sister, I loved her more then I could describe. I will always remember ripping the heads off her barbies and ruining her Elvis doll. She ran to mom and told on me and I was in so much trouble. I also remember when it use to storm or when it was Christmas time I would always sleep in her bed. I even helped her hide all her tattoo's from our parents when she first got them done. Even though we had our ups and downs she was my sister and I loved her unconditionally. Now I'm here six months later wishing I could of had one more day with her. I regret not being there when I should of for her but her and I both know that if I could I would of been. She knows how much I love her and how I wouldn't have traded her for anyone else. I think of her everyday and I'm so happy that I get to see her in my dreams now and then. One day my mother father sister and I will all be reunited again and be happy once more. I love you ash and no matter what you will always be my big sister and you will always be in my heart and memories. I look at your pictures everyday and it makes
Feel just a little closer to you. This isn't good bye it's see you soon. Again I love you and no one will ever replace you in mine or mommy and daddy's life.

Dearest Ashley, you will be missed terribly by your Adlib family here in New York. I cant believe you are gone we just texted each other on Christmas, seems like just yesterday. Your pictures are still on display in the pan yard from when we performed at the New York boat show. Many memories are all we have left. They are great memories like me trying to comb that wild hair of yours. Rest in Peace dear Ashley.......

I just received the news. My friend...I wish we had stayed in touch over the years. I am in complete shock!!! You, at age 9, were the one who taught me, at age 15, how to play the bass. Had fun times hanging out with you at your home when we were younger. I'm gonna miss you my friend. LOVE YOU ALWAYS ..... Tamikah

Thinking about Ashley's teenage years brings back sweet memories as I watched her grow and morph into this beautiful young lady with a strong yet gently personality – that smile; her determination, her strength, her tenacity to overcome obstacles and her quiet resolve. I think of these things and I smile, my heart soars.
Ashley as an adult – I could not have wished for or asked for a better daughter. Words cannot express the depth of my love/feelings for this adult child of mine. What a wonderful human being she was.
Mommy loves you!

Ashley entered this life at 8:59 p.m. on July 14, 1987. What an amazing introduction to motherhood it was; an absolutely wonderful and magical moment for me.
As a toddler Ashley was beautiful, happy, funny, curious, sweet, and loving – a hugger for sure. An abundance of hair crowned her small head and that smile; yes, that smile and those beautiful eyes that I would get lost in.
As a child Ashley was curious but careful, full of questions but respectful, very loving and kind with the most captivating smile that melted hearts and caused everyone to fall in love with her. Her grandmother referred to her lovingly as an ‘old soul' that was here before.
Ashley was a creative and artistic person. She had such a passion for music and dancing; she attended Spivac Dance Academy where she was able to enjoy, explore and master tap, jazz, and ballet dancing. Ashley later became a fill-in instructor there and was able to share her passion/love for dancing with younger kids.

Ashley, even though you are no longer with us, your spirit and memories will live on through those who are in this physical world. You showed courage and strength during your battle; and I admired you for that. Rest in Peace Ashley

Ashley, I just talked with your mother and I must say that you continue to make us smile and bring us comfort. It's just a testament of how caring, loving, and selfless you are. You were always concerned about others before yourself. What an inspiration you will always be for me. I love you always!
